Oh the possiblities...

I think I'll be headed out to the WetSpot's Vendor Fair this weekend. I wasn't PLANNING on going, but I think I will. I have a few friends who will be attending and there's always cool stuff to see. Too bad I can't afford anything until next week. I think I may also attend the party with bootblack kit in tow.

There's been conversation now and then about 'flagging bootblack' and the complication of who in the situation is the top? I'm the black, I'm on my knees servicing the boots... but at the same time, I'm the one giving the orders. I suppose I'm technically the bottom, but there is always room for argument.

Anyway, I dunno about blacking at the WetSpot, it's kinda dim and I don't know if there is room, but if we can find a not as dim place that would be fitting, I'd be happy to do boots Saturday night. Just look for the girl with the well loved bootrag in her back right pocket.

So I finally did it. I did a full clean and shine on a pair of boots while they were actually ON someone. Thanks for the experience, Monk and Griffin. Two lovely men with sexy boots. I can't wait til next time!

Now I'm plotting up a portable blacking chair and I'll have to talk to slavelife a little bit more about the new wooden kit and a way to do the foot stand at just the right angle.

I never remember how much I miss doing this until I've gone without for a while.

*happy sigh*

It's good to be back at it. Especially in an environment I like with friendly and encouraging people around.
